Near Dark

Armand Schultz has narrated the Harvath series across multiple entries and brings particular authority to this installment — the character's emotional state is the most exposed it has ever been, and Schultz renders the grief and fury without making them theatrical. At just over 11 hours, Near Dark is one of the series' most personal entries and one of its most effectively paced thrillers.
