Mercy House

In Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, a century-old row house serves as sanctuary for women fleeing dangerous circumstances. Sister Evelyn, a silver-haired nun with an uncompromising spirit, runs Mercy House alongside her fellow sisters, offering refuge to immigrants, abuse survivors, and others whom society has discarded. When word arrives that Bishop Hawkins plans to investigate their unconventional methods and potentially shut down their operation, Evelyn faces her greatest challenge yet. The women under her protection depend on Mercy House for survival, but the Church's scrutiny threatens to expose not only their forbidden practices but also Evelyn's own buried secrets that could destroy everything she has built.
