Her voice gives both Rizzoli's Boston detective and Isles's forensic precision their appropriate textures, and the Botswana sequences carry the exotic heat of the setting effectively. The Strand Critics Award and the Goodreads Choice Award for Mystery and Thriller reflect the quality of this entry, and Eby's performance in audio does the recognition justice. At just under nine and a half hours, Die Again moves efficiently through its international scope.
