Deserving Reese

Maxine Mitchell, Teddy Hamilton, and Gregory Salinas share narration duties across Reese's and Spike's perspectives, giving each character a distinct emotional register that sharpens the push-pull between them. Mitchell brings warmth and grit to Reese, while Hamilton and Salinas handle the male voices with the controlled intensity the story demands. Stoker's pacing moves quickly enough to sustain momentum through both the action sequences and the quieter romantic beats, and the multi-narrator format makes the audio version the most immersive way to experience this third Refuge installment.
