Deadly Fate

An Alaskan cruise ship called the Fate is docked near Bear Island when entertainer Clara Avery wanders ashore and stumbles onto a scene of bloody carnage, the apparent work of a serial killer who stages victims to resemble the famous dead from notorious murder cases. Thor Erikson, soon to join the FBI's paranormal Krewe of Hunters, is already investigating multiple grotesque killings in Alaska connected to an escaped convict. Clara's unusual ability to communicate with the dead may be the key that unlocks the case, but first she needs to survive long enough to use it.
