Ariana

Ariana is a women's fiction romance set on a remote Greek island, following Ariana Carter-Cruz, who returns to Sakros to settle her late grandmother's estate and encounters the woman she loved years earlier, now the island's taverna owner and harbour master. Her grandmother's plans, made before death, complicate the simple transaction Ariana intended, entangling the past and present in ways that force both women to choose between what they planned and what they actually want.

Jessica Jeffries narrates with warmth suited to the novel's Mediterranean setting and the slow-burn reunion romance at its center. The Greek island atmosphere comes through with enough specificity to feel genuine rather than generic, and Jeffries gives Ariana's internal conflict the careful balance between self-protection and longing that the story requires.
