A Rogue's Proposal

A Rogue's Proposal follows Demon Cynster, determined to remain the last of his cousins to escape the institution of marriage, until he discovers Felicity Parteger conducting a suspicious investigation at his racing stables at night. What begins as confrontation becomes something more complicated as Demon learns why Felicity is there and finds that his resolve is not quite as ironclad as he believed.

Simon Prebble narrates Laurens's Cynster series with the kind of warm confidence that Regency romance requires. His portrayal of Demon's gradual capitulation is played with wit rather than sentiment, and Felicity's determination comes through clearly in Prebble's handling of the female perspectives. The series' characteristic blend of sensual tension and social comedy works well in audio.
